Dynamics CRM : Cannot focus on pop-up window when we use JavaScript

Cannot focus on pop-up window when we set the URL in JavaScript parameter, instead in Url Parameter then set WinMode="2" of your isv.config.xml.

Scenario : I need to call the crmForm.Save(); function in JavaScript before I open a pop-up window. We cannot user Url parameters then set WinMode="2" anymore.

Solution :

Call the save function in JavaScript parameter then call the new window.

Then on the NewPopUpWindow.aspx add this code on the Body tag onBlur="window.focus();"

"Unexpected Error occured" When trying to view calculations tab

Problem: Cannot browse the calculation tab.

Resolution:
this might be caused by version mismatch between some binaries. i'd suggest checking the versions of msmdlocal.dll and msmgdsrv.dll and making sure that the ones installed into %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\ are the same as those in %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\System\Ole DB\ (if they are not then try updating the ones in the PrivateAssemblies with the ones from ole db; you might want to save the original ones as to be able to get back to original state just in case...)

Solution:
Add WITH (NOLOCK) on OLE DB Source query to release lock on table being queried. Lock occurs if 2 or more processes are waiting for a resource and neither can advance because the other process is preventing it from getting the resource.
